The dual telescopic boom design enables a lateral outreach of more than 20 meters at heights of up to 35 meters (with a platform load of 100 kg out of the maximum 600 kg). The 4×4 drive, robust chassis, and off-road tires allow the machine to operate reliably in rough terrain. Four outriggers ensure the necessary stability during operation.

The Wumag superstructure provides a reach of up to 6 meters below chassis level. This makes the WT450 suitable for inspecting the side sections of bridge structures directly from the roadway. When working with lateral outreach on only one side, the platform can be set up with outriggers deployed on that side only, reducing the required setup space by approximately 2 meters. The work platform can also be equipped with panel material holders with a load capacity of up to 350 kg. The truck-mounted lift complies with strict safety regulations and international standards.
